I'm going to open an online boutique that I am very excited about! I hope to launch it sometime before Fall 2010 (for Fall '10), probably in June or July. I eventually want to carry a ton of designer and non designer lines but am starting out with semi-cheaper lines because I don't have $500,000 to spend on inventory. Some of the labels I want to start with are BB Dakota, Dogeared, Love Quotes, Vince, Velvet, Free People, a few denim lines and a couple other lines, but I will probably have to narrow that list down to 4 or 5 lines. I really want Alice+Olivia and 3.1 Phillip Lim but there is no way I'd be able to afford to spend their minimums! I really want to open a brick & mortar store but my local economy is too horrible right now... 2 boutiques in my area have closed in the past year. When the economy starts to improve I really would like to open a boutique or two since I don't think finding funding for my line will ever happen.

Lauren Conrad Kohls line LC Lauren Conrad

In October, Kohls launched the LC Lauren Conrad line. Pieces range from $20 to $60. The line features things such as leggings, sweaters, jeans, blazers, dresses, etc. . . I think the pieces are cute but from things I have ordered, it seems to run very large. The Kohls by me doesn't have it yet so I had to buy online at kohls.com but ended up returning it since I wasn't sure what size to get.

Some of the things that I love from this line. . .

^ This is the watercolor ruffle dress, right now its only $41.99. So cute! I wouldn't personally wear this in the fall, but I think it would be a lovely spring dress. It also comes in purple.

^ The brushstroke sheath dress. Love this! I definitely want to order it, but want to try it on first. It also comes in black. $34.99. This would be so cute with leggings and a wrap during colder months.

^ Strapless dress. Also in black. I think this could be worn in many seasons. Alone in spring/summer, or with tights or leggings and a cardigan or jacket in colder months. On sale for $34.99.

^ Striped boyfriend cardi. Almost sold out. This was actually one of the things I ordered. I returned it because it was very oversized, and I didn't like the quality... the fabric was soft but little holes were about to form where the pockets attached to the garment. Very cute though. It's $29.99 on sale. I paid full price when it first came out. If it was $20 I'd say it's definitely worth it but I wouldn't spend more than that because of the pocket/fabric issue. If it was a thicker material that wouldn't get torn easily I'd definitely recommend it. It's still super cute though.

Another thing, don't pay full price because Kohls things are always on sale! I think the Spring collection is going to feature a bunch of girly/feminine dresses, it sounds very cute!

If you see something you really want but don't want to worry about shipping/being able to return it since your local Kohls doesn't sell it, wait for Kohls to have "free shipping" or cheap shipping, they usually have some kind of special, and you can return online purchases to (I think) any Kohls store.

First Post!

Hey everyone thanks for checking out my blog, Extremely Fashion Obsessed. I have been wanting to start a blog for a while but am extremely busy with school so I wasn't sure about it. I will try to update as much as possible! My goal is to be the source for everything fashion related!
In my first post I am going to talk a little bit about sequins! At first I thought sequin dresses and tops were utterly tacky but I have come to love them as long as the trend is not overdone! Here are some ways to do sequins in every price range.

My question to you is, how do you feel about sequins? Do you like the trend?
